Club Ped is a no-gadget program - you don't need a pedometer (or the product selection nightmares, or the difficult set up process, or the expense, or the replacement policy, etc). It's a simple eight to ten week walk/run program built to motivate employees at all fitness levels to adopt and stick with an exercise routine.
We're kind of fond of numbers, but we'll spare you all the data from our last eight years of running this initiative with our clients. Here are two basic stats to keep in mind: (1) 81% of participants find the program motivating, and (2) 85% committed to participating in the next session. (Can you say the same about your biometrics and HRA program?!)
Healthy Lifestyle Program: Maintain Not Gain - a team-based holiday weight maintenance competition
Who doesn't like a little friendly competition in the workplace? With Maintain Not Gain, employees can compete for successful program completion, best team names, and more. Let's face it, it's hard enough to make it through the year-end holiday season without gaining weight. No one wants a preachy, patronizing health education program to weigh them down!
Here's a little data to reinforce NIFS emphasis on impact: (1) 84% of participants rated the program as excellent, (2) almost 91% indicated that the program positively influenced their lifestyle, and (3) close to 75% of participants indicated they would not have been successful at maintaining their weight over the holidays if they had not participated in NIFS program. (How's that for impact?!)
