All NIFS full time and part time employees are required to participate in universal precautions training (1) upon hire, and (2) annually. See below for more information.

Begin by watching your mineral training on Universal Precautions.
Familiarize yourself with universal precautions procedures as outlined in the video and the biohazard kit contents as identified in the Biohazard Kit Explanation document.
Also note, for those who work in one or more of our FM locations, review the NIFS Biohazard Kit Locations document.
Review the NIFS Exposure Control Plan document.

Sign and turn in forms

New Hires:

Initial in the appropriate places and sign the Universal Precautions Acknowledgement form.
Complete the Vaccine Acknowledgement form.
Turn everything in with your new hire paperwork.

Annual Training:

Comple this survey to acknowledge completion of the annual Universal Precautions training.
